Bensonwood's Open-Built® Design/Build System
Our new Lifestyle™ series matrix-based design/build system is a great way to select a home that's right for your family—often without any design or engineering costs. Simply go to the online matrix under "Plans" to familiarize yourself with the possibilities. Then, fill out and submit the Design Questionnaire and/or call one of our sales professionals. Together, you'll explore the myriad of options available to you. It's much less expensive than designing a home from scratch, and that savings translates into incredible value.

Bensonwood Whole House Solutions
In addition to supplying our legendary, energy efficient shell package, Bensonwood now offers whole-house design/ build solutions. These complete packages include exterior trim, roofing, finished interior walls, energy efficient mechanical systems (i.e.: plumbing, HVAC, and electrical), kitchen cabinets, countertops, and bathroom fixtures-all with the quality that has made Bensonwood the acknowledged leader in the high-value, high-performance home industry.

Bensonwood Shell Packages: Fully Enclosed Building Shells
For those owner/builders looking to finish out their homes themselves, we offer Basic shell packages. Bensonwood designs the whole home and produces and assembles the frame, second floor system, and outer shell, on your site, complete with exterior doors and windows. For those wanting a higher degree of finish, our Enhanced Shell Packages include a millwork package that complements the natural wood, high quality and unique style of a Bensonwood home. Our millwork packages can be configured in many ways and for every budget.
Regardless of how your home is outfitted, the value-added base portion Bensonwood provides and assembles on site is called the shell package.
