Bensonwood Entry Doors
At Bensonwood, we make our own doors. The beauty, craftsmanship and design of our exterior entry doors make them a signature component to a Bensonwood home. At 40 in. wide and 90 in. tall, our standard entry door is thicker, taller, and wider than other doors, creating an elegant, distinctive entry.
Whether you order our standard door, any of our optional doors, or a custom door unique to your home, we carefully laminate all parts to create door components that last longer, stay straighter, and look better than other doors. We also hand-select our finish woods for grain quality and color. And just like fine furniture makers, we book-match the grain on stiles, and panels whenever possible. Like our timberframes, Bensonwood doors are assembled with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery.
Our doors are surrounded in a solid white oak threshold and clear vertical grain fir casing. They hang straight and swing easily for years because they are mounted to the casing with commercial grade ball bearing hinges. Silicone weather stripping seals out wind and weather. A variety of door hardware options are available.
