Backup Energy Packages (for alternate energy systems)

Grid
Unity can be connected to the local power grid, which acts like a giant battery for times when the home is producing less energy than required. During periods of surplus energy production, Unity sends power back to the grid for electrical credits. Annualized, Unity can produce as much energy as it consumes, resulting in zero net energy use (and cost).

Generator
Conventionally fueled generators can be deployed during times when inadequate power is being generated by onboard systems, or when the local power grid is down.

Battery
Battery technologies can be utilized for periods when power generation falls short.
